Rogers Community Spotlight TV is a non-profit broadcasting station that is required to meet all CRTC standards, rules and regulation. All of my work as the show's creator, producer and host is done on a volunteer basis. No sales, promotions, advertising, or payment in any form takes place. I do not get paid, earn, or receive any money or compensation of any kind. Instead, by creating this program I am attempting to partially fulfill the requirement of “Standard 8” in the Professional Standards for BC Educators which requires; Educators honour the profession by supporting, mentoring or encouraging other educators and those preparing to enter the profession. Educators contribute their expertise in a variety of ways, including opportunities offered by schools, districts, school authorities, professional organizations, post-secondary institutions and communities. Educators contribute to a culture of collegiality.
